Biography
Todd has an impressive combination of formal training and practical background in art, custom jewelry design, and fine metal engraving on many different objects in many different styles. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts with concentrations in Printmaking and Jewelry Design from Miami University in Oxford, OH. As a professional goldsmith and jeweler for over 25 years, he now creates custom pieces for clients through his own company, Prestige Designs. In order to promote this fine art form, Todd has also held engraving and jewelry making seminars at high schools. Additionally, he learned gunsmithing techniques and was invited to a private gunsmith studio whose clients are some of the world’s largest gun collectors. Todd’s work has been exhibited and published in both national and international arenas. An interesting and noteworthy credential is his role as technical editor for The Diamond Setting Manual by Robert Wooding. He has also served as a technical consultant for Whitehouse Brothers, as well as developed prototype designs and finished products for their upscale clientele.
