Course Description
Designed for jewelers and engravers who already work with gravers, this course specializes in the design, layout, and execution of letters, monograms, crests, and decorative ciphers.
It emphasizes efficiency by using the latest GRS power-assisted tools, and versatility by teaching techniques that work on a wide variety of metal surfaces and workpieces.

- Using master plates and templates.
- Work holding techniques, fixtures and materials
- Applying serif and sans serif letters
- Computerized layout and design
- Mixing letters to enhance overall designs

- 3 and 4 letter monograms
- Working with plated, cast, rolled and mono metals
- Trophy engraving and layout
- Family crests and heraldic designs
