Intermediate Engraving
Take the Next Step in EngravingCourse Description
Guided by the instructor, each student pursues a higher level of design and layout ability, adds finer detail to their engraving and learns how to execute cuts with noticeably more precision.
This transforms the attendee’s engraving into a more exuberant and three-dimensional style. Intermediate courses include a specific final project that focuses new skills into a finished piece.
While all intermediate programs offer similar instruction, for 2008 there are two different projects: one course will engrave a stainless steel Al Mar folding knife, the other a sterling silver jeweler’s loupe.
Intermediate Engraving (Knife) with Steve Dunn features a knife as a final engraving project.
Intermediate Engraving (Loupe) with Lee Griffiths features a loupe as a final engraving project.
