Course Description
Bracelets are an excellent way for an engraver to not only create wearable art, but to express a more creative side. Beginning with how to properly measure, size, and shape bracelets of various widths, the student will learn intermediate techniques such as single and bright cut floral bouquets and scrolls, pierced work (filigree), setting stones into decorative designs, more advanced borders, and other design elements. Students will complete bracelets in copper and brass using these techniques and more. The final project will be a sterling silver bracelet completed with either the student’s design or one of several designs provided.
