Course Description
If you want to carve ornamental designs, wildlife scenes, and other beautiful elements in wood, this course will put you years ahead. It is designed for everyone from beginners and non-artists to those who already have an eye for the art. Beautiful wood carving like this can enhance gunstocks, fine cabinets, picture frames, doors, cases, trophies, and awards … the possibilities are limitless. This fun and rewarding course includes how to carve oak leaves, basket weaves, fish scales, acanthus leaves, animal scenes, and ornate scroll designs. It teaches the two most popular carving methods: rotary bur and impact chisel techniques. Under the personal guidance and encouragement of the instructor, you will learn how to make wood come alive.
