Course Description
This course teaches basic stone setting in an understandable way using techniques that increase quality, save time, and accelerate learning. Each student will work with a zoom stereo microscope and GRS power tools to complete a versatile range of basic settings. The curriculum includes special stone setting processes that reduce the physical strain, mental stress, and fatigue that occur with other methods. This course is designed for people who have never set stones and for those who want a better foundation for basic stone setting.

- Utilizing the microscope & specialized GRS workholders for stone setting
- How to use fixtures & materials to hold pieces securely
