Course Objectives
- Overview of tools used during the course
- Tool making & graver sharpening
- Flush & prong setting techniques for round diamond & colored stones
- Prong setting fancies: Princess, Marquise, Pear, Emerald, & Baguette cuts
- Channel setting: Rounds, Princess cut, and Inlaid Channel
- Bezel setting ovals
- Invisible settings: Grooved Princess cuts
- Bead setting and pavé: bead and bright cut, thread setting and pavé
- Creating the 10-stone pavé cluster
- Flush setting tools and techniques
- Gypsy setting cabochons
